New walking group: Canine Friends

We are starting up a new walking group for anyone to come along, but with walks that are dog-friendly, so that people can bring their dogs with them. We have started off by arranging two walks for 2024: one on Claverton Down in Bath and the other at Chew Valley Lake.

So if you know anyone who might like to come along, please pass the message on and get them to submit an enquiry via the website. These walks are free this year (i.e. no club subscription is required).

  1. I have a five month old puppy , cross breed . Golden retriever crossed with poodle . I think he will be retriever. Standard poodle size when fully grown. He’s lovely , but very boisterous. But I can only walk him for half an hour at the moment. Five minutes for each month of age. Yes I would love to join the canine group . Best wishes Ros

  2. Nigel Hathaway

The two walks planned this year are at the end of October and end of November and will last about one-and-a-half hours (obviously depending on how fast we walk). I don’t know if he will be up to that by then.

We have a cockerpoo, and we find all poodle cross-breeds get on very well together.
