Walk Leader David Godden
Twelve of us set off from the White Hart Pub, Iron Acton, heading towards Frampton Cotterell.
Crossing the railway line, we walked through fields and woodland, enjoying the warm sunshine. Arriving in Frampton Cotterell, we stopped for coffee and cake at the Magnolia Mews Bakehouse Cafe.
Once refreshed with delicious cake, we continued our walk with a few deviations. David managed to negotiate with a farm owner a path to get us back on to the track we needed towards Tubbs Bottom.
Returning to the White Hart Pub, Iron Acton, we enjoyed a delicious lunch before driving home.
A very enjoyable walk.
