Walk Leader: David Godden
Ten of us met at Saltford Hall for the Saltford Festival Walk. We began our walk heading towards Saltford Church, through the churchyard and on to the cycle track. Walking along the track we were surrounded by beautiful wildflowers and greenery from all the recent rain.
Angela, the diesel train, was in operation and passed us as we walked along. We enjoyed views across the Cotswold and Mendip hills and passed the former home of Hinge and Bracket.
After a coffee at the Bitton railway cafe, we headed back along the track, through fields and returned to Saltford Hall.
A lovely walk in warm sunshine.
