Walk Leader: Pauline Mousley
Six of us set off from Timsbury in brilliant sunshine – so different from previous days.

The fields to Meadgate were not so bad but the ploughed field starting our descent to the Cam Valley collected mud on our boots and made our feet feel heavy. However, we soon made it down and stopped for a coffee break at the bridge over the old railway.

We then climbed across fields to Tunley Recreation Ground, stopping at times to admire the views behind us. Then, across the fields to Priston.

After the church, the sun started to desert us a bit as we headed back to Timsbury, holding up a shoot as we passed in front of the guns!
A lovely morning in good company.

Great photos capturing the winter sun. Sorry not to be able to have joined you!
