Strollers Walk Yate/Chipping Sodbury Saturday 18th March

Nine members set off from the Lawns pub, Yate, making our way to Chipping Sodbury.  We had a heavy shower of rain as we walked alongside the river Frome. We were able to dry off at our coffee stop in Coffee One in Chipping Sodbury.

Returning towards Yate, we walked through a wooded area into Kingsgate Park. This was part of the grounds of Stanshawes Court.

Then, back to the centre of Yate, going through the shopping centre to the Lawns Pub. We ended our walk with a delicious roast dinner at the Badminton Carvery. The perfect end to a lovely Spring walk.
